When we decide to travel for our vacation, there are often so many things available for us to do. There are also many types of vacations. Some people prefer to explore cities and learn about history of a civilization or a significant landmark. Other people prefer to spend a week at a beach resort in the Caribbean or the Mediterranean. Others still would rather enjoy a more eco-friendly or active holiday which could include hiking, canoeing, camping, kayaking, snorkeling, or even swimming. Good water shoes can make these active vacations more enjoyable.

With all of these types of vacations you can almost guarantee that at some point you will find yourself on or near a beach or rocky shoreline. Many shorelines allow you to appreciate the natural beauty of water vs land. In some regions however, the beach or shoreline can be quite rocky or perhaps full of broken shells. The sand may also be quite hot. If you have ever tried to walk into the water from rocky beaches or shorelines, you know the pain that can occur.

I have had several pairs of water shoes over the years but I found these ones from Amazon to be the best water shoes I have had. They are a comfortable, lightweight shoe that is flexible and collapsible so packing them for a vacation is a breeze. I travel with them in a separate plastic bag to catch any dirt and sand. When I get home, I just pop them into the wash. After several washes they are still good as new!

These water shoes go in the washing machine and dryer with no problem. If you are on the road and do not have access to laundry facilities, these shoes can be washed in a sink and are quick to dry. Sizing for these water shoes is great and they are secure when walking.

These water shoes are also great for walking on the beach as some beaches can be extremely HOT.

Watersports

These water shoes are particularly useful when I am kayaking. It goes without saying that at some point I usually end up in the water. It varies between just getting my feet wet at the edge of a lake or river to actually falling in with one foot in the kayak and the other foot on the shore. I usually end up doing the splits at some point and falling in. With these water shoes I know that wherever I land my feet will be protected from whatever bottom my feet touch.
