Australia has always felt like a second home to me. After having lived there for a year while attending university, I enjoyed the friendly, care free disposition of the people. If you are looking for Australia travel planning information you have come to the right place.

My most recent visit in 2019, concentrated on Queensland: Cairns and the Tropical North, Mackay, Airlie Beach and the Ungella, Brisbane and the Gold Coast.  There are so many things to do in this state! Snorkeling, diving, hiking are the primary activities but having such a long coastline, all watersports are available.

Picture yourself on a sailing excursion through the Whitsunday Islands. Hiking and waterfall viewing is prevalent further inland.

And who can say no to the abundant and extremely different types of wildlife that can only be found in Australia. Kangaroos, Koalas and Platypus are some of the most famous creatures. On the negative side, however, sharks and crocodiles have also made headlines. Remember that whenever you are around water, be cautious of your surroundings to avoid a dangerous encounter.
