It really is a stunning country. Having lived in the arctic for a few years, Iceland brought back some memories as well. But the one thing I had forgotten about was the crystal clear air. It has such a unique smell. And even in the winter, it is not as cold as you might think. It can be stormy though.

Thank you so much! It really was an amazing adventure. Now that I have been, I need to plan a return visit for a longer length of time. certainly cruises give you a taste, but they also leave you wanting more.
